What is your favorite favor that you received at a wedding???

What is the most unique???

I am just trying to get some more ideas.

My favorite favor was the heart shaped letter opener.

I haven't had any that I thought were unique though...

What about you??

THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT IDEAS!!!

I just read the breakfast one somewhere when I was looking on the web. I think that is the greatest Idea. So they have breakfast either when they leave or something to snack on when they wake up the morning after the wedding. Its very cute and useful.

The ice cream scoop is cute too.

I really think everyones ideas are great.

We did bamboo plants similar to these. If you look at my wedding pics in my album, you can see them on the table. They were a big hit.

I know I am answering my own question now...LOL. But I just saw this flower pen as a favor and thought it was great. My coworker had this cool pen with slik flower on top. It was put together with the green florist tape. I ended up stealing the pen from her and using it all the time. Very useful and very cute (guys probably wouldn't be in to it.) Its probably cheaper if you DIY too.

Also can double as a place card holdher if you attach tag with name and table. Also a cute addition to the decor of a spring/summer wedding or garden theme. :)

I like edible things because Im usually traveling to a wedding and dont want to have to bring favors back with me. And wine is always good!!!

Same here.

My SIL did something cute; she and her partner bought little pear candles (in shape of pears) and put two apiece in little gauze bags with a pretty ribbon and custom tag with their names.People say they are a 'perfect pair' all the time hence the perfect pears. It was really cute and I always love candles as favors.

I once got christmas cookie candles and a christmas cookie cutter for a winter wedding.

we gave personalized ornaments as favors...everyone really liked them & this christmas we got a lot of calls wishing us an early happy anniversary & 'we're just putting ur ornament on our tree & remembering ur wedding!' which was exactly what we wanted

We are trying to figure out if we can have what we want. We are looking to do small bottles of Mead (Honey based wine made on Long Island)

I haven't gone to many weddings recently but I can tell you what I don't like-food/candy. It is not something that can be kept or used. I wanted something that will last with time and not get shoved somewhere and completely forgotten about or thrown away because it was too old. This is the reason we choose the photo albums.

We did cookbooks with all the recipes my family and friends gave us at my shower! Huge hit with our families.
I liked this idea because it was a combination of both our families and friends (DH is from the South, my family is Italian)
People still call us when they make a recipe from our cookbook!

Oh - I totally forgot. I think I read this in Martha Stewart Weddings or something - to have the valets put a note with a small bag of candies or something in the car when they park it - the note would say 'thanks for being a part of our special day' or something. it would be a surprise when they get back. only problem with that is that ppl who don't drive (commute in from city) or carpooled - not every couple would necessarily get one.
