What are your favorite flowers to plant outside???
I am trying to decide. We have Lilies that were already planted from the PHO but I am not sure I want to do the standard impaitients in the numerous flower beds we have.

Any of those 'ride the wave' plants are great! They are the ones that really grow and spread a lot. It saves on planting!

I LOVE doing impatients, pansies, putunias, and begonias.

Well, they're not really a 'flower', but more of a shrub that flowers...Hydrangeas!! I LOVE them. The only downside is that they're naked in the winter.
As for flowers: -Double Impatients -Celosia -Bleeding Hearts (perennial) -Dahlia

What I'd like to have in my gardens eventually:
hydrangea butterfly bushes a cherry blossom or dogwood tree
I love pansies, impatiens are great because they ar e hardy, marigolds ( I love that they keep mosquitos away), petunias, morning glories, clematis, maybe some roses. I also love gerber daisies and gladioulus

i'm trying to cultivate my green thumb, so what i've noticed that i would like someday to have are: hydrangeas!!! magnolia tree blossoming trees wisteria climbing vines like roses on a trellis butterfly bushes honeysuckle lilies lavendar daisies i like the whole wildflower english garden look...just something you could find fairies in

me too!!! I also like to put Marigolds in pot by the front door...because mosquitoes hate Marigolds

i love the look of various size pots with flowers placed on steps of a porch.
Thank you for posting this link! WE have cement between our house and our garden and I was looking for something to dress it up. This gave me some great ideas!
