What are your phobias!

I have several of them!

I'm afraid of:

spiders
bridges
walking down staircases (i've fallen MANY times)
ticking clocks
and peep mushers!

When I'm in a huge store like BJs or Home Depot, I have a fear of the building collapsing, or of things just falling down from the really high shelves.

I'm also afraid of hights.

Also:
Cockroaches (and any insect in general)
Drowning (I have nightmares that I am on a sinking ship....I think I was on the titanic in a past life or something)
People who don't wash their hands....

Fear of leaving stove on.I always have to check it even if I didn't use it because I am afraid someone else forgot.

I have such a fear of flying - its awful b/c I love to travel and see new places...and I was never afraid up till a few years ago.

Oh, and roaches - they SKEEVE me out big time!!!

I am afraid of someone breaking into my house and raping and murdering me while FH is at work. I'm terrified of the possibility of intruders. I even told mv1003 that I think I was murdered in a past life, which is why I have such an overwhelming fear sometimes.

It can actually cripple me if I allow it. I have to take deep breaths all the time and remind myself that everything is okay, no one is in the house (and no we can't get a dog or an alarm system for various reasons). I just deal with it.

Other than that:
cockroaches
deep water (like oceans)
turbulence while flying
something happening to FH

Actually - I have been afraid of just about everything since 9/11. My sense of peace, well-being and safety was completely shattered that day. I'm much better now, but I still get really freaked sometimes.
