I have several of them!

I'm afraid of:

spiders
bridges
walking down staircases (i've fallen MANY times)
ticking clocks
and peep mushers!

Mine isn't normal...I have a fear of being homeless. Other than that, not afraid of much.

HeatherandNick I am deathly afraid of clowns too funny. I never went to the circus for that reason!

Spiders - i do a corner check every night before bed. FH gets mad when I find one & make him get up & kill it. I always make him show me just in case he missed it

I noticed you were all afraid of snakes too. I am horribly phobic. I can barely even type the word without getting nervous.

Any bugs- especially spiders!
And I'm like Thrilled- extreme fear of intruders breaking in. We have an alarm and I still freak out! A few weeks ago I heard a noise I thought was footsteps in my house- it was around 5 AM and DH had already left for work- I was still in bed and thought I was going to have a heart attack! It ended up being the front screen door tapping against the house!

Oh my goodness, I am soooooo afraid of intruders to the point that I will NOT stay home alone over night. When I was in college, a gf and I were staying at my parents' house in upstate NY and someone tried to break in.
That and I am terrified of houses that are heated by gas because last January, not the one that past, but the one before, my neighbor's house exploded in the middle of the night.
I think I associate bad things with the dark now

I am afraid of setting myself on fire...i know i am weird.

When I was 14 and I tried smoking (and this is probably why I dont smoke) i put my nail on fire. I had acrylic and wow does that catch fast.

at the moment it was omg i am on fire so my dorky friends yell stop drop and roll. i wound up blowing it out like it was a candle.

But when I think back on it, it is really funny. Only me this would happen too

It's not so much a fear, but I hate being home alone overnight. I just don't sleep well.

I have a fear of fire. It's weird, I will be driving home after being out all day and I somehow imagine that my house is burnt down and all boarded up.

I have a fear of being in a crowded place. It's no fun to think of being trampled to death.

I have a fear of dogs. Let's just say I was chased by one too many as I rode my bike as a kid, and at 4 years old, I was bitten by one when I tried to pet it.

I also have a fear of the doctor - just because I have this fear of finding out something is wrong with me.

Edited to add I have a fear I won't be able to have kids when we try and that something bad may happen to my hubby when he is driving home (car accident).

i am severly claustrophobic! i cant even ride the train anymore. I am also afriad of fire, when i was smoking once my brother hit my cigarette and it fell down my overalls. I couldnt get it out and outside in the street, I had to get naked to get it out..now thats a funny story! I am also deathly afraid of public speaking which is really horrible cause I cant graduate from college cause I keep dropping the classes that want an oral presentation!
