FH and I were there yesterday, I was looking for a dress for a wedding we have to attend. I really loved some of their stuff, they have some really nice casual china. I suggested maybe registering there but FH was unsure, he said he didnt think it was right because things were expensive. But I would only want to register for a few things and some of their stuff doesnt seem too overpriced.

Weddings are expensive, life after a wedding is expensive. JMO and I am not being bratty but its a wish list, So if you need towels, bedding etc they know what you like. It never hurts to ask for anything sometimes you get exactly what you want and better. And that applies to all things. Fh and I registered and picked the need to have things and the want to have things. Either they get it for you or you get the $$ to get it yourself.. Just register for what you like and see ........ Good luck (sorry that was long)

I looked at the bloomies registry online, not sure yet if i will bc even their salt shakers were over $100, a regular vase was $300-500, napkin rings again over $100. I want to register bc they give you a bunch of things when you register but you can look for some things.
My friend registered at 3 places and one of them was Tiffany & CO but only had about 10 things from there and when i looked it up the prices werent that bad

Go for it but register at another place like BBB so everyone has a choice. We are registered at BBB and Fortunoff.

Re: what are your thoughts on registering at...
I'm registered at Bloomingdales, and its the first place we went to. They were really great at explaining everything, and have wonderful customer service.
They carry a lot of the same brands that places like Fortunoff carry, and the prices are the same. The reason it 'seems' more expensive at Bloomingdales, is that they don't carry a lot of the less expensive brands.
I highly recommend checking them out.
We also registered at Fortunoff and BB&B to give our guests a choice of where they want to shop.

Re: what are your thoughts on registering at...
I found that Fortunoff had more selection, but that could be just of wht I was looking for. You can definitely register at Bloomies for your casual china and also register elsewhere for the bulk.
We did Fortunoffs, but did JCPenneys for luggage since the cheapest stuff we liked at Fortunoffs was over $175 per bag. (we wanted cheaper since we wanted a complete set)
