What are your top 3 smallish reception sites...

What are your top 3 smallish reception sites...

I've already seen 18 places, and I'm driving myself *crazy* afraid to miss out on the perfect one.

Since I've allocated only one more day of looking, I was hoping you girls you give me your top 3 favorite sites for small receptions (100-130 people). Places that are pretty for an Oct./Nov. wedding are a plus (i.e. fall foliage, and a pretty inside in case of inclement weather).

Thank you all so much for your help!!!!!

HAve you looked at Smithtown Landing? They can accomodate smaller 50-75 in one room or up to 225 in the other room. I guarenteed 125 and am being treated like royalty. Good Luck with you r search, I hope you find the perfect hall.

Try the Soundview or, if you're looking really small, The Bartlett House holds 30 (both in Greenport). Check here for a whole bunch out east.

Sans Souci would be my top choice for a small wedding, though unfortunately you either have to have your CH outside or on the dance floor of the ball room. (They do sort of close off one part of the room, though, so you can't see the whole thing)

The Metropolitan has a minimum of 140, so that wouldn't work for you unless you did it on a Friday or Sunday (when the minimum is 120) or negotiated the minimum down. I would, however, look into the Metropolitan CLUB, which is owned / operated by the same people - just a smaller venue.

My brother had 100 people at Stewart Manor CC and it was nice -- the food was very good, but the decor wasn't personally my style.

I second West Sayville Country Club. That is where we are getting married. It's so beautiful and everyone who works there is so helpful. It is perfect for an autumn wedding. I hope that we helped you out.

The upstairs room is called the Hill Room, its really nice for a small function and it has its own balcony on the roof

Ticky did you see the portrait studio upstairs yet? Me and FH went there yesterday to make another deposit and we went and sat down in the EMPTY Manor Room (remember the showcase )Its still surreal...
