OMG!! Carrie Ann asked me to make her place cards - she got them from a bride on here - it was YOU!! Betsy (ewickens) helped me make them! We couldn't find your exact stamp though! This is what it came out like:

Ooooh, she fm'd me, and told me two of the ladies on here were making ones similar to them for her But I hadn't seen a pic of them. They came out beautiful!!!!

OMG you are all amazing! Can you share the genes that make you so crafty? Then again, I should just steal 'em from my sisters!! They got the crafty side, I got the musical side. Oh well!

I can't wait to start on my little touches!! Here they are...

Placecards will look like (classy) Yankee tickets (designed by my sis/co-MOH), and small bags with peanuts will be attached to them.

Tables will be named/numbered after Yankee players. I imagine the tablecards will at least be a classy pinstripe or something, to look like the back of a jersey.

Our favors will be huge beer mugs (FH is a big time beer drinker, and it also kinda keeps with the sporty theme) that will be screen printed with our names, and filled with Cracker Jacks- each mug will have a prize!

We are mostly likely going with the DIY route for invitations as well. It helps to have crafty sisters!!! I think I want to have a navy accent of some sort on the invites, to keep with the navy/white color theme as well.

I just hope we can make all the baseball-themed touches very classy! I would imagine my sister could do a good job at that...if it was up to me...oh lordy it would be so cheesy!

We're avid cooks, so we wanted to share that...
martha stewart good thing: rosemary sea salt favor that we are making ourselves...

I handmade our ring pillow and added a piece of hangarian lace purchased on our recent trip to budapest...

I'll be wearing my Oma's (gandma's) ring given to her by her long-term boyfriend (lasting into old age) 50 years ago...

and not to be forgotten:
everything (church, reception, and most vendors) are within 5 min walking distance from home.... It gives a real home-grown feeling to our wedding
