What are your wedding superstitions?

What are your wedding superstitions?

I'm curious, what do you have down as your 'superstition'? Do you have any 'musts'?

For instance, me and FH have decided to save ourselves until the HM (started last month - it's been hard! ).
Also, we see each up until a week before the wedding, then be MIA from each other until the rehearsal dinner, and then the wedding.
One last thing, we won't move in together until we are officially married. We'll have the apt, and have it ready, but won't live together until we're husband & wife.

It's not bad luck if we break any of these 'pacts', but we'd like to keep them.
Do you have any? If so, what?

I won't move in with my FH either until we are married.

same here. we live together, do 'stuff' together, you get the point, we'll be taking pics before the ceremony. my big superstition is that i can't wear pearls, nor can the girls in my wedding party.

The only things we are really doing is not seeing each other the day of the wedding until the ceremony...my FI also wants to abstain for the last month...we'll see about that!

Geeee.. I feel like such a rebel. I've been living with him, we're not doing the abstaining thing

We arent taking pics before the ceremony, though..

WHat is the deal with pearls? My grandma was freeeeeking out when i told her i may wear pearls!!!

We aren't living together or sleeping together until we are married. He can't see my dress or see me before the wedding.

The only things for us is he is not seeing the dress until the wedding day. Everything else I am not superstitious about... as far as the dress goes I am not superstitious I just want him to be suprised

He won't see my dress. I know we don't want to see each other until I walk down the aisle. We'll do pictures after the ceramony. I think it would be more special if he sees me for the first time as I'm walking down the aisle.

I am going to do the borrowed, blue, old & new. He isn't going to see my dress or me b4 the ceremony. We aren't going to live together until after we are married (he'll probably move into wherever we will live first with all of our stuff and then I will move in after). And I kind of like the idea about not seeing each other the week b4...I think it will be a great way to build us both up the when we can see each other at the ceremony! Thanks!

That's right.. there's still the 'something old, new, borrowed & blue' thing. I plan on following that. Also, no guy is to see my dress either. Only my brother, because he lives with me.. lol. Good job guys... keep the post going.
