FI has some debt that we'd like to get rid of. I'm thankfully debt-free as of a few months ago, and it's the best feeling in the world...I want him to feel the same.

Otherwise - we're investing/saving it for rainy days....

Right now - we don't want a house or kids, we live in NYC and an apartment will do just fine, kids a few years down the line....

my Fh has a house.. but all ikea furniture.. I want to hook it up.. with really nice furniture

Probably going to use it to pay part of fiance's credit card debt so we don't start our lives at a huge disadvantage. Otheriwse, I'd definitely use it as a downpayment for a home

Save it and add to it for a down payment for a house.
I think we will spend a little of it on furniture for our new apartment.

We'll probably take a small amount with us on our honeymoon, and the rest will go into the 'we need to buy a house' bank account.

Ummm... pay for the wedding! If there is any after that, I guess it will be honeymoon money and IF there is any after that... we'll buy some lumber for home improvements!
