i would describe my style as old world/primitive. i am not drawn to the 'put-together, everything matching' decor or any particular manufacturer/designer. i buy by the piece, not by the collection.

I decorate the same - I buy pieces that I like...complimentary pieces. I don't like the matchy-matchy look - I'm kind of eclectic.

I took the design style quiz on hgtv and it told me mine was eclectic. I like some contemporary stuff, some shabby chic, some traditional.

It should be fun decorating my house

I have no clue...I would like to say similar to Pottery Barn with a splash of something else, but I don't know what that something else is..

My house is very modern. We are working on getting the maple cabinets installed. With that we have stainless steel appliances. Granite countertop (stellar night [black] with glass specs) My floor tile is black granite. My bedroom furniture is a for mica king set. My living room has a deep red accent wall.....all in all id say its pretty modern.

I was going for Pottery Barn chic. But I think with all the renovations going on, it's more of a post-modern demolition type thing.

It's hard to say what my style is. I guess I tend to gravitate towards Traditional and French.

I can definitely tell you what it's not: modern, contemporary or country.

Couldn't answer with just one word because different rooms are coming together differently. I love french country so both the kitched and dining room are french country. The Living Room is mission style. Our bedroom used to be country which I guess I got tired of so now I moved that stuff to the guest room and our bedroom is modern and nautical. We have an extra room on the front of the house that I'm aiming for tropical/exotic/safari kind of eclectic slowly but surely.
