I have six girls- four sisters/one cousin/best friend. My cousin has a HUGE chest- I am talking 48 DOUBLE FF, but is skinnier on the bottom (11/12). Three of my sisters are sizes 13/14 and up. So, my question is, what type of dress can I get that would be flattering to all? It doesn't help, of course, that the only styles I like are spaghetti straps... I just don't want to pick out anything that is matronly looking, but of course I will sacrifice what I like in order for them to feel comfortable...
any ideas??

Re: what bm dresses are good for full figures?
I would do seperates and let them choose tops that are most flattering and comfortable for each of them.

Anythinh that is A line usually does the trick. Even spagetti straps are ok just make it A line.

Re: what bm dresses are good for full figures?
I have the same problem! Every one of my BMs (I have 8) have big boobs and 2 of them are plus size. I want them to be comfortable that day but I don't like the look of 2 pieces or different dresses on the BMs. We're actaully going to look on Saturday but I'm thinking:
1) Nothing satin or chiffon - the 2 most unforgiving materials 2) definitely A line 3) something with thick straps or a halter and a v-neck - I think that's the most flattering on everyone.
I'll let you know what we find.

Re: what bm dresses are good for full figures?
Being a plus size bride, moh and bm, here is my recommendation:
try to find something that is A line and possibly with an empire waist. This helps draw the eye up, and not focus on the hips/waist. Sleeveless, v-necks and scoop necks are very attractive in this style.
If you go with spagetti straps and/or short sleeves, sometimes it draws the eye to the arms. Think clean simple lines!
The other VERY important thing. Watch the material. You want to find a STIFF satin type material. If it is too soft, what happens is the dress clings to the wrong parts of the figure. With a stiff material, the dress keeps its own shape and looks good on most everyone.
I've been very successful with Alfred Angelo and Jordan.
Hope this helps!

Re: what bm dresses are good for full figures?
i kind of disagree with sleeveless for full figure women whose arms are really big one of my bm is having issues with her arms (she is 350lbs) and her arms are really bad so she asked me to pick out a dress with sleeves so i will to make her comfortable my MOH has a beautiful figure should I get her a similar dress???

My girls are all different shapes and sizes as well. A few of them tried on this one and liked it. Very plain and simple but very flattering for bigger girls.
I have a mix of sizes for my girls, they range from a size 2-18 (in regular clothes.) We chose an A-line gown in satin, but the dress skims the skin instead of hugging it. We also chose a dress with a wrap so the arms could be covered for the ceremony. Once people start partying at the reception they will get hot and not even care what their arms look like. This way they can weat the wrap but have the option to remove it.

I'm thinking separates also. But probably A-line bottoms.

Re: what bm dresses are good for full figures?
thanks everyone for your help! I have worked with my cousin and we narrowed down some jim helm choices- I just love his color choices! We have found some seperates that would work for them (we think) so, we are going to travel to the shops next week and see if anyone has some we can try on!
Thanks again! Tink

I like the one Flacataca psoted, but I am a 12-14 & little big on top & I find those high necklinees, exentuate the boobs. V-neck or scoop works better, but the thick straps are good.
Short sleeves make big arms look worse, 3/4 sleeves, long sleves, or a shawl works better, I think.
