I hate power foundation. That makes my face chalky. I put moisturizer on then my liquid. But if you put on moist. first then the power found, it will give you a nice clean finish without looking chalky.

its not a regular powder, its not loose powder...the dual finish is a bit different...see i cant use liquid it makes me so hott and i feel it looks like im wearing more make up. ALso ive done moisturizer with the dual finish powder and again i dont like it, same reasons as above, its too hott with it on, i feel it alot more and looks like more make up...plus i dont put it on all over my face just certain areas.

I think for now though im gonna stick with wearing no make up on my face just using concealer to cover up a few spots

yes im quoting myself lol, but here is a close up pic of me with dual finish powder on, you cant tell its powder and its alot lighter, with moisturizer and foundation it feels so heavy plus alot of those products have silicone in it and makes me look oily after a while.

Here's something I learned this weekend at the Mary Kay thing I had...

Pressed powder is better for girls with dry skin - it goes on more smoothly & doesn't dry you out.

Loose powder is VERY drying. It's grainy and the grains soak up excess moisture. So for girls with oily skin - go for loose powder!!!

for face-i dont use foundation, i use a dual finish powder which is very sheer and light and well its powder. Its by lancome

Maybe I'll stop at the counter to have them apply it and if I like it I'll get it the next day or so. I will definitely get some eye color that day just because I'm in need of new ones!

Doesnt loose powder get all messy?? I cant use that. I only wear more foundation when I go out. But on a everyday basis I just wear this Neutrogena concealer for my red spots and it works great. Its also has salycilic acid to help clear up spots.

LOL no i said its not loose powder, its pressed powder, ill show you a pic of what it looks like, look at the posts at the bottom of page 1

here is a pic of the dual finish powder which you can see is not loose powder, it goes on very smoothly

Yves St Laurant foundation is really great
YSL blush is great
For Eye color and lip color I use Victorias Secret makeup, they have such pretty colors

I just started using one of their new liquid foundations and so far so good... it goes on lightly, doesn't have a weird smell... hmmm this makes me nervous. Before I got this stuff I had been using Bare Minerals for over a year and really love it. Just wanted to switch things up a bit.

I also just got NARS blush - and I really like it - it goes on nicely, it has some shimmer but not glittery (I hate that with some products). Also use with Chanel bronzer which I absolutely LOVE! I highly recommend it to anyone.

does it last long on you though...i bought NARS blush recently too and love the color and like you said has some shimmer but not glittery, but i notice it doesnt last as long as other blushes, like i have to reapply again later on

I only use Chanel, for skincare and makeup
i have been using it since highschool, so about 10 years now

its not too strong for your face? i know alot of young ppl say how it is...I love their blush and use that but i had such a horrible experience years ago with a mask of theirs i used, it messed up my skin for close to a year, well not my whole face but one area turned red and sore and stayed like that. I was told bc its too harsh for my skin...the lipsticks are great too but i stopped wearing lipstick but theyhad the best...also they have this concealer kit that is great

i use NARS bronzer
Avon blush
Estee Lauder eye shadow
Jessica Simpson plumping lip gloss
and for mascara i use the one with the plastic comb instead of the brush from Maybelline its great!

and yes i use avon blush and i have other cheap products - for me, i have found it depends more on the brush than the product so all of my brushes are MAC and they make the chepest stuff look great ( if you dont have sensitive skin )

I have a Channel Bronzer that I got a couple of years back, its OK, I feel like everytime I use it I get pimples on my face. But yeah the liquid CH foundation, it was the Vitalumiere if I remember corectly, I opened it and it turned to green, the foundation inside. I keep it at room temp, thats gross it was like fungus was develping. I went back to Macys and got credit for somethine else

My cousin got me hooked on it. And I cant even tell you how much I've spent on it so far.

i just started using the Maybelline Matte (the foundation)

it is awesome...and it makes me look flawless and it is super light

I bought the pressed powder just incase i get shiny but i dont bc its Matte!

i recommend it.

i really like it bare minerals too. In the summer when i'm tan i only wear vincent longo concealer under my eyes and lip gloss. otherwise i use bare minerals and either lancome or stila pressed powder. vaseline on my lips. nothing on my eyes though if i wear mascara it's either neutrogena or lancome
