Just wondering about our cake from Audrey's bakery. We are probably going with a yellow cake and can't decide on the filling. We are debating these 4: rasberry, canoli, cookies & cream or cappucino.
We also have to be careful because we have several guest with a nut allergy.

we got our cake from audreys as well and we did yellow cake with one layer of strawberry fruit filling and one layer of chocolate mousse and everyone said it was delicious.
maybe you could do one layer of raspberry fruit filling and a layer of one of your other choices that would compliment it.

Could half and falf of something. Like berries and cookies and cream? We are doing yellow cake with vanilla custard and chocolate pudding. Buttercreme Icing.

I had half chocolate mousse and canoli with chocolate chip filling- it was perfect!

We got our cake from Audrey's and did the fresh rasberries w/ pastry cream and it was delicious.

If you are worried about nut allergies then don't go with canoli because that can have pistachios in it. I love it though. You may be better off with berries.

Personally I would go with either the cappucino or rasberry filling, maybe each layer could have a different filling.

just FYI- some canoli creams only use almond extract and most ppl w/ peanut allergies (my nephew has one) aren't allergic to almonds or the extract but I would check with them and then check with Audreys to see what they put in the cream.
