What can you just never manage to do, no matter how hard you try?

My dad is all 'Oh rice is easy, you just boil the water and let it sit!' Yeah, if it was that easy, I wouldn't be crunching on every spoonful of my dinner!

I also can't do a roundoff, but I can cartwheel.

It's so NOT east at all. DH boils without the cover, I simmer with the cover and we both cannot get it right. I have to soak my posts every time we make it.

I consider myself a pretty good cook, but I can never, and I mean NEVER cook a steak perfectly. Its either overcooked, undercooked, underseasoned, or overseasoned.

That's so funny. Me too. I'm actually NOT allowed to cook steak in our home.

I can't lie. I know that might be a good thing, but when you need to lie about a surprise, I can't do it, I start smirking.

All these gymnastics things have me cracking up. I remember trying to learn new tricks, but the one I really had problems learning, but still was able to do was a front walk over.

I took gymnastics for years ... I could do back walkovers, front walkovers, arial cartwheels, etc ... but I could NEVER EVER master the back handspring ... I was such a chicken with that and actually dislocated my elbow becasue I chickened out 1/2 through one once.

Chickening out is the WORST!! I did it mid-backwalkover on the beam, OUCH! At least it was the low beam.

I got the backhandspring and tucks down, that wasn't the problem, frontwards was my problem, limbers, walkovers, handsprings.

I just have to say that I did gymnastics for 14 years and I sucked! Sure, I could do all the tricks, but I couldn't put it together for routines! I was really horrible!!!

But it did help me for diving - which I loved!

I cannot put on makeup to save my life. I have no idea how to apply it. They should have a class on this.

I cant remember anything! My short term memory is so shot. FI will ask me to pick up something on the way home, while I'm driving home and I'll forget in about 60 seconds. I find myself pulling into the driveway and back out all the time!

Grow out my nails! I don't really bite them but they peel and are so this they crack and I wind up pulling the rest off.

I can't ride a bike I have tried all through childhood and fell off SO many times. I almost caused a car accident while trying to steer once I actually pedaled.

And the funny thing is that I can ride a horse and so many people think my balance must be good for that, but no bike riding for me
