I used to work for an entertainment law firm so I met a few people there....

and one night in Lemon my friends and I saw Larry Johnson...we took a pic w/ him but I was the only one of my friends who knew who he was - one of my girlfriends was like - I can't wait to tell DH that I met Magic Johnson!

I have met:

Derek Jeter and Jorge Posada
Leonardo Dicaprio & Tobie McGuire (at the Delano in South Beach)
Brooke Burke (same place and same night) - She is SOOOO tiny and so beautiful!!!
I have met all of the Victoria Secret Models b/c I used to work for a fashion production company that produces their runway show every year....
Puff Daddy - he was at the show
Andrea Bocelli - sang at the show
Mary J Blige - also sang at the show
I have also met all of the other big name models and designers through that job as well, just not sure if they fit into the category of 'famous'

Edited to say that I also met Matthew Perry at The Park on 10th ave/17th st....he gave me a cig. and was pleasant.....
I don't want to comment on their niceness or lack there of though b/c I don't know any of them personally....

Oh Gosh I know there are more...Some b/c I lived in Manhattan and you never know who knows who or where someone will turn up-we use to live next door to Tom Cruise (next apt bldg) and some from the Investment Bank I worked in-one of the founders of the co was the Entertainment Banker and use to bring the celebs to the trading floor.

edited to add: Billy Idol is a distant cousin of DH's by marriage (so basically not really related but they've been at a few weddings together)-I never met him but I just saw about someone meeting him

OH and how can I forget when I was in 7th grade -- I met MENUDO...LOL -- you have to remember them !! Ricky Martin was in the group -- He was like 4 feet tall--- ha ha ha I met them in an airport...

I met Antonio from One Life To Live on the World Yacht a few years ago. He was very nice and he had hooked up with one of the girls that my guyfriend had brought on board. The TV doesn't do him justice...

Edit for Allure~This was June 1996, I remember specifically because I had just graduated from Kingsborough and a few of my friends took me out
to celebrate.

I forgot about these two, but I met Nas in Roosevelt. He was very nice also. I had to direct him to Bloomingdales, and when I finally realized who he was, he gave me his autograph.

The other was Mark Gastenau, he was a jerk. I met him in the Valley Stream Home Depot when I worked there. He was telling everyone who he was (b/c he looked like hell and no one knew who he was) and he was trying to get a good deal on a pressure washer. He was like get your manager and tell him someone very important is here to see you. He offered me his autograph, so I took it...otherwise I wouldn't have bothered asking.

How could I forget !!!!
I met BRYCE from that group that had like one album - GROOVE THEORY - he was like the DJ or producer or something, he is GORGEOUS. I met him a few times, his eyes melted my heart. So beautiful

I am a big ONE LIFE TO LIVE fan and i know for a fact that Antonio is married in real life how long ago was this?He is so gorgeous

Met President Bush (daddy) at a fundraiser.
Had lunch with Norman Schwartzkolf (sorry about the spelling). He was really nice....kinda like a grandpa.

Tiger Woods (same time as Chippa). We were doing an ad campaign for American Express. He was very nice.

Jerry Seinfeld (same reason as Tiger). He was nice...a little quiet though.

Met all the 92 US Olympic Team. My company was a sponser and I did fundraisers for them. All pretty stuck up and very bossy.

Tony Soprano and Chistopher. Christopher has an account with my company is in the bulding often. Very nice.
I bumped into them on the street once also and I got all flustered and said sorry Mr. Soprano instead of his real name and they laughed at me

Have seen a whole bunch more. Just having a brain freeze at the moment : )

OOOOh...I forgot - I met Derek Jeter twice - once Cheeta and then some other club...way back in the day...

and my friends and I met Stephen Baldwin at Lucky Chengs once...I think someone said they saw him doing something in the bathroom...

I used to work with the DMC Simmons brothers' (can't remember name) nephew. I think his mother was Simmons' wifes sister. (think thats how it went) But he used to open the shows for them every once in awhile.

I never met anyone famous but I'll boast a little about DH. He owns a small contracting co. but manages to get and work with some really cool clients:
A few years ago, he did some work for Tom Cruise's apt in Manhattan (didn't meet Nicole Kidman though)
He also did the Tibet House and worked with Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman. Then was hired to work on Uma's moms house in Jersey.
And 2 summers ago he redesigned Connie Chung's (met her, not Maury) bathroom and kitchen.
I'm so proud of him

I was hanging out in the city with my friends years ago and we saw Latrel Spreewell.I didn't recognize who he was but my friends did.He said hi.He seemed nice.
My husband used to see Chris Rock once in a while in NYC.He said he was friendly.
My husband has seen a few celebrities.I would have to ask him again who but I don't think he talked to them,just passed them in NYC.
