What color front door?

What color front door?

ok we are almost done painting! What do you think?

We are getting the new front door tomorrow. It will be just a solid white door. My DH wants to paint it to match the shutters and I say leave it white....

What's your opinion?

your house is gorgeous...I happen to like the door to be a bone color rather then white...The white is too shocking...

I think the red would be too much. I would stick with white or maybe a Stained wood door

I say white, but that's b/c I don't like red doors. I don't know why- FH and I argue about this b/c he likes red doors (mind you, we don't even have a door we can paint yet!), but I just don't.

I like red doors, I think they give the house a charming, country look... I personally think black would be too much of a contrast.

Any warm color - red, purple, maroon - is a welcoming color, I've heard. Maybe because it makes the front door so much easier to find.

A friend of mine painted her door a maroon-ish color and it was beautiful!
