I think silver also, my girls are wearing pink and they're wearing silver, I think silver is the best way unless you want then to dye their shoes to match the dresses.

matching isnt a bad idea but then how many times are you like 'OH man....I wish I had wine colored shoes!'

I'm making them wear black isotoner slippers. It's a long dress and the shoes won't be seen.

gold might not look too bad either.
are you using long dresses?
imo if your girls have long dresses it really doesn't matter what their shoes look like since no one will see them and most likely they will take them off at the reception while dancing around.

my girls are wearing wine and i am telling them they can wear whatever shoes they want. i'm thinking most people will choose black or gold. i generally like gold better than silver for me.

I have wine dresses with a gold sash. I think a couple of them have dyed shoes already from a different wedding that they are wearing. If not, I think gold. I want to get gold shoes myself.
