What color shoes with navy dress?

Im going to a wedding on Saturday (Roxysparks, actually) and my dress in navy with light blue scattered in certain areas....what color shoes should I wear? Its impossible to find navy dress shoes for some reason. Also, I am looking for some sort of cover up that would probably need to match my shoes?? Black wouldnt go, right?

Then that means I need to find a silver or navy cover-up too right? Would a white or cream cover up work even if my shoes are silver? Or maybe I could get cream shoes that are very strappy?I have shoes that are like a pewter color, but they have a design on the front that is a little too much with this dress. Generally I would just get silver or navy shoes with a navy cover-up but I cant find one anywhere--who knew navy was such an obscure color!! I knew black didnt really go--but I was just hoping so I wouldnt have to buy new shoes!!

You can find navy shoes/sandals or I would go for silver.

Maybe light blue since this is incorporated in your dress.

Stay away from black. silver or navy would be my suggestion. I know that David's bridal often has wraps to match their dresses that they sell off the rack...maybe try there for a navy one? (I bought a navy one there a few years ago)

I'm pretty sure I saw a section of navy blue dress shoes at Casa de Mario in Patchogue. They also have purses, gloves, etc. So they might have a cover up as well.

Ooh good idea! Theres one right by my house. I wouldnt have thought a navy wrap would be this hard to find. Im at work so I cant post the dress, but thanks everyone for all the suggestions!! Hopefully I can find a navy wrap and silver shoes today!!

I agree with silver. Even though black and navy are a subtle difference, they are different enough to tell.
