What color shoes would go with my BM dress???

What color shoes would go with my BM dress???

the BMs have silver shoes from past weddings, so I was going to have them just wear them, so they don't have to buy new ones. Do you think they will go? (dress goes down to the floor, so you will hardly see shoes)

Not yellow botton, this color pink...

(BM are all pink, with ivory flower. MOH is ivory top, pink bottom & flower)

i would suggest dying shoes the same color ivory thats in the dress

see, I was going to be like that, but is it really necessary for them to spend that expense on shoes, when they will only be briefly seen walking?

True Jenny. If I was in your party I would buy the shoes to match the dress. But that is just me. Maybe just leave it with the option to wear whatever they want to wear.

I would also dye the shoes. There are plenty of places to get nice cheap dyeables for under $50.

Where???I have not found any for under $50. I rather not have them spend that much for shoes they will never wear again. I hate the idea of being a 'bridezilla'.

Do people really care about the BM shoes???

my friend is doing silver shoes with a pink dress that is similar to yours and it looks AMAZING. I think that dyed to match shoes never look great, JMO.

I think you could get away with silver shoes if the dresses were all pink, but something about the ivory flower with the silver shoes I don't like. I'm a stickler for details so silver shoes with those dresses would really bother me, but if you don't mind it then go for it.

My MOH said that too. my dress will be ivory and she said, are you sure about silver and ivory dress. I just feel it's such a small detail I doubt guests care. I rarely look at BMs shoes when I went to weddings. i guess I will see when they come it. (it's an irridescent taffeta, so I think dyeing to match will be hard anyway)

Are they a silver sandal? Because I would say a silver sandal would look pretty...but not a silver shoe.

i think silver strappy shoes might clash with ivory. I think ivory goes better with gold...because of the yellow tones in ivory.
not that i am saying go out and buy gold lame shoes, cause that would look gross...but they do have some really pretty gold strappy sandals....but i guess that kind of defeats the purpose, since you are trying to save them $$ to begin with. I think Payless Shoes have dyeables....and Bakers, too.

I vote for ivory shoes, but let the girls get their own style... Or alternatively, can the flower be removed for them to wear the silver shoes?

I say have them buy dyables...they would look more uniform with pink shoes..you can even find some NEW on ebay stores for less then $50...good luck!

Try craft shoes in commack I think its on Jericho Tpke! I got shoes there for a bridal party I was MOH in and they even gave us a discount when we all bought our shoes there. I believe we paid 52 but they had dyables fore less and they will dye them black afterwards for cheap! (some places will do this for free)

ETA you do have to be careful with dyeables, a friend had hers dyed and the didnt even come CLOSE to matching even thought she gave them a swatch!

Pink is a cool color, so silver would go fine. I'd just make sure their shoes are in great shape from the last weddings.

My girls wore silver shoes with their blue dresses. It looked really beautiful. And, they all wore a diff. shoe, it made them each look a little unique.
