What color Stockiings/pantyhose/whatever you call 'em

are you wearing???

i went to get them tonight (i got thigh highs though, b/c thats what sexy b!tches wear actually, just b/c i'll have enough cr@p on under my dress, and i dont want a half hour ordeal everytime i've got to pee)... but i digress....

so anyway, i go to get the Nude color, and FH goes No, you have to wear white... everything else is white, blah blah blah...

so i got the white,,, but now im wondering what everyone else is getting?

white pantyhose reminds me of my communion... But i can see how its sexy with the 'underneath' stuff... but most of my guests (hopefully) wont be seeing that whole package... so do i stick with white? or change to nude but get white for the wedding night (get your mind out of the gutter-- i mean to sleep in, of course)

im wearing closed toed shoes... and we're not doing the garter... so visualization of that area will be minimal ... but i'm still up in the air about it

Well, I plan to go commando, (well, I will wear underwear, so is that semi-commando??) since I have yet to find hosiery that is comfortable.............I do like the look of white, but I didn't have a communion and I don't get that image in my mind, so it's different for me. I think that either white or nude is ok, neither one would look out of place to me.

I asked this question of my co-workers and they all started yelling at me that it had to be white!!! But, you dont have to work with them so I'd say go with what you like better especially if no one else ( ) will be seeing them

I get the whole communion thing that is exactly what I think of when I think of white stockings

I'm doing the white thigh highs simply because it goes with the whole 'panty' thing and if I get cute negligee (sp?) it will probably be 'white for the bridal night so all I have to do is slip the dress off and slip the other on.

Tough decision here. I see where white would be 'sexy' yet tacky if people can see when doing the garter/open toed shoes.

I'd probably go with nude, since I am having open toed shoes.....but I'd be interested to see what other Brides have to say.

Yes, you should get the color of your dress. I'm not a big fan of it either but otherwise everything you have will be streamlined and then you'll just see one random nude leg peeking out... I'd go with white (if your dress is white). My dress is ivory and that's what I'll be wearing.

I was going to do white thigh highs at first but then I decided on nude because my dress and shoes are diamond white. I thought it might be too much of a clash.

I am wearing white thigh highs with white undies that say bride in rhinestones.

I personally wouldn't wear white. I'm not sure if I'm wearing them at all but if I do they will be nude.

Neenie, they are TIGHTS remember hehe :) I dont think ill be wearing any under my dress...but i think white is fine...go with what you feel comfortable wearing though...but dont stress out too much about it lol

I had the same problem trying to decide so I bought one of each. I figure I can decide the morning of how I feel - plus I can carry the other around in case I get a run.
