What color's should we paint?? Pics inside

We needs suggestions on colors to paint our kitchen and our living room.

We are planning on painting the bedroom Benjamin Moore Peaceful Jade, and I was thinking of painting the kitchen a shade of green, but we didnt know if it was too much green....The living room we were thinking of doing a bluish color and then sponge painting one wall....If you know of a better color, let me know.

Since these pictures were taken, the bathroom was painted a lighter blue and all the trim is going to be white.

Keep in mind it is a basement apartment and the colors cannot be dark.

I don't have much advice ...however...my kitchen cabinets are the same, and I just painted my kitchen Butter Pecan by Benjamin Moore...it looks like a pale peach...really nice though....give it a shot.

Danielle's sister said to go with a warm yellow color, maybe more towards gold....I think that sounds good....

That's what I was going to say - in the kitchen I mean. The living room I would say something neutral, like in the beige family. I guess it depends on what your furniture looks like.

Our living room furniture is light grey...Microfiber, so Beige is out of the question. We were going to do BM Summer Blue and then on one wall do sponge painting with a lighter shade of blue....Just hope its not to dark...We were going to paint all the trim white...

If anybody in your family is good with wood, they can make a chair railing around the room, then paint the underneath part (lower half of the wall) one color, and the upper half another color. Like maybe white below and blue above. That way it's not one solid color and the white will break up the blue.

We were going to put white trim in the middle of the wall and paint one color under and another over but we decided against it, since the walls arent that high and the ceiling's are low.

We decided on painting the kitchen a shade of green. We have 3 different Benjamin Moore Colors that we like and we are going to pick one tomorrow and start painting tomorrow.

I cannot wait to see how it looks.

..Behr's makes a great shade of butterscotch.

We will only be using Benjamin Moore Paint and Danielle really doesnt like Goldish shades of color...so we are sticking with warm greens for the kitchen....

If it was up to me and i was the only one making the decision I would of painted the kitchen a mustardy yellow color.
