My company has a 'no eating at your desk' rule in place....and I am sitting here eating a black & white cookie, and damn it I don't care!!! Send me home for it if it's so bad!!

No playing games... Ive been playing SIMs on my phone
No interviews... ive been having some phone screenings for a new job

I had an elderly woman work for me who would eat raisins at her desk. She would drop them on the floor on accident, and then run over them with her chair and mash them into the carpet. Then she would step on them and track raisin remnants all over the office.
Anyway. When you have access to every email and file in a company of thousands, you can't afford to break the rules. Or to admit to it on a public forum.
I used to break the dress code. But you knew that already.

Janna, I worked at a place that had a rule about not eating at your desk, even at lunch time. But they did not even have a break room. People ate in their cars!!!

I actually wrote our company personnel manual. I have ridiculous things like: 'A disheveled appearance will not be tolerated'

So far it just has 'wearing sneakers will be cause for you to be immediately sent home to change' but if you want I'll add 'only sexy platform heels are permitted' – I do update it every December, so this is the right time…

Yes... this is a must. ALL women are to wear sexy hot heels. Only PG women should be allowed to wear flats. And only they are cute animal print ballerina shoes.
I like VERY detailled rules!!!
If I wanted to be really 'controlling' I would have said, you will need Kara's approval prior to wearing ANY shoes in the office.
