What did or what is everyone going to tip their makeup artist?
I am headed for Long Island tomorrow and am making up my vendor envelopes..Im just not sure what to tip my makeup artist? She does work for herself, but I know from my trila that she IS AWESOME and is going to make me look BEAUTIFUL!..so what do you tip if they work for themselves but do a great job? She is 125..20 % is 25 bucks..what is appropriate? What did you do or what WOULD you do? Thanks soooooo much!! Can you believe it, in less than 48 hours..Im going to be married!! YAHOOOOO

congratulations!!!! you're almost married!! i think i'd go with $25.....seems fair and it's a good tip percentage

Thanks Pale bride!!!! I didnt think Id nake it this far..Im doing so well too.im kind of proud of myself!!! Maybe Ill do 30 just to throw in a few extra bucks..I just wanted to make sure its enough!!! Thanks again!!

If your really happy with the work she does I would say from 30-40 dollars. Congrats!! have a wonderful day.

Thanks Allure..we are having a get together..but not really a rehearsal dinner because our rehearsal isnt until the day of our wedding, so tomorrow night is a get together for the guests who are in town and then fh will go out with the guys, my dad, etc and Ill go out with the women just to get out, Its going to be GREAT!!! Im so excited!!

15-20% I think would be enough.

JN is who I am using too. I love her. I think 20% is fine.
Personally, because I really think she does an amazing job I am going to tip a little more.
