...after your reception hall?

I feel so far behind in the planning but I know I have all summer to check things of my list now that is school is out. So, what did you book after you figured out where you would have your wedding?

And for those you getting married late summer/early fall 2012, what checks have you completed?

We booked these vendors in this order:

1. Church
2. RH
3. D.J.
4. Photographer
5. Ordered my dress
6. Videographer

That's all we have done right now.

I booked my RH, DJ, and Limo all the same day because it was a bridal showcase. Then I did florist, photo, video, makeup, officiant.

That's it! Scheduled e-photos for 7/8 and plan to mail STD's in August. As soon as school ends, planning to meet with DJs/ bands and look into flowers. Also, I want to get bridesmaids together to try on some gowns I am thinking of.

Will be starting my registry soon too I think.

From April until now, here is what we have booked in order from start through now:

RH
Rabbi
Photo
DJ
Ceremony Musicians
Flowers
ordered STD's
started working on Invites (custom)

Next up:
Register at BBB and possible other stores (7/2!)
Hotel Block contract (approx 7/15)
add to/finish wedding website
send out STD's
BM gown shopping in July
Epics scheduled for 8/6
Makeup trial scheduled for 8/6
Bridal gown shopping Aug or Sept (putting this off, eeeek!)

In the distance:
Bridal accessories (shoes, DOJ)
Tuxes (Jan or Feb)
Book Honeymoon

Thanks. I feel like a big mess, and really want the bulk of planning done by early winter. I know I will be a bridezilla come May and June next year, so I am trying to limit how nuts I get. lol

Afer the RH we booked our band first. After that we did photo/video, officiants, and then DOC. I want to work on hotel block, limos, and flowers this summer.

We're booking in order of importance to us. After the hall the most important was photo.
Then we booked church (this was very important but we had to wait awhile for an appt.)
then DJ
now we're looking into flowers and limos.
