What did you do first? BM dresses or flowers?

I'm having trouble deciding on a color scheme and am wondering what I should do first. BM dresses or flowers? What did everyone else do?

I booked my florist first, with an idea of the BM dresses and colors. The most important thing is to pick the type of flowers, you can make color changes if you pick a different dress.

It's suggested to do the dresses b4 the flowers b/c you'll have an idea on the color scheme....I however, did the opposite. booked my florist for fear of them booking on our date if I waited until after the bm dresses were decided on. we have a 'general' color scheme, but the arrangements/flowers we picked could easily be switched if the colors change.

Just remember, the colors for flowers and dresses shouldn't be EXACT - they'll wash out.

I picked the flowers first. I have an idea of what I want my girls to wear.

I booked my florist and placed a deposit down first. I haven't even decided on BM's dresses or colors yet (although I'm thinking blue).
The florist told me that I have up to 3 weeks before the wedding to change my mind about the type of flowers and colors.
If there is a person you love, I would book them, because they can't do many weddings a day.

I picked my flowers first, but I already knew what color my girls would wear. Flowers are done for months now, but the BM dress search hasn't even begun.

I book my florist (LA blossoms) and am not worrying about colors until I get the BM dresses this summer!! CAN'T WAIT!!

I ordered the BM dresses first -- I wanted to be definite on the style and color of the dresses before I ordered the flowers.

I had a vision of how I wanted my wedding Bonquet to before I even choose my attendences. It actually is very helpful because I can now pick the fabric for the BM dress and I have an idea what I should choose. It really is what pops in your head first. For example if you started thinking about pale green off the shoulder dresses for your BM on your May wedding, then yes you would go with that and find flowers that match. It really depends on you.
