One year mark?

tomorrow is mine and i know fh has something planned, but I wanted to know if there is anything i can do to make it a special day!

i got him a card and wrote some sweet stuff in it...but what else

we went to dinner at the place where he proposed. But, it was also the 1 year anniversary of getting engaged (Sunday of Memorial Day weekend)

I live in CT... and hall is out east- fri night-4th of july weekend prob wont work but that would have been SUCH a nice idea

i think that is what we are doing, he hasnt said anything... but i kind of feel like he is planning this nice night and i get to just show up and its our wedding...so i thought i should do something cute for him...

we are doing a combo 1 yr mark/anniversary celebration. Kayaking, picnic, trip to the outlets (my fav shirt got bleach on it so we are going to see if we can find me a new one ) and then dinner at a restaurant we both have been dying to go to!

We are getting married at the Westbury Manor so at the 1 year mark we went to dinner there.

DH got me flowers but we weren't able to go out do dinner because we work at night and it was during the week. I took a picture of the October calendar and wrote on it '1 yr from today we'll be married.' I have the picture and every so often I look at it!!!

Maybe you can just get him a great gift that would totally surprise him. What are his hobbies? Maybe you can get him a poker set or a really good quality golf club?

Nothing, just hugged my Mom because she was all worked up that in one year I won't be living with her anymore.

ETA:: Oh, yeah, and teased FI that in one year exactly the offical ball and chain will be on. Ha! Only kidding though...

Our 1 year mark was a Friday, so we met and had a very romantic lunch at McDonald's!! Since I work days and he's on nights that's all we had time for!!

But when he got home I had a cookie from a bridal show that was shaped like a wedding cake, so we broke that apart and ate it. It was sweet!!
