My sisters gown was at my dad's house in his closet since her 2006 wedding.. She JUST picked it up last year!

I'm thinking I am going to hold on to it. I was kind of upset that my mom no longer has her wedding gown because I think it could have been fun to at least try it on to see how much the styles have changed over the years. It would have too much sentimental value to me to sell it.

Right now its in the basement of my mom's house in it's bag. I guess I gotta do something with it.

I plan to preserve it and possibly use the lace to make a christening gown for my kids when the time comes.

It is hanging on the outside of my mom's downstairs hall closet. She refuses to put it away and I have to look at it everytime I go there and feel sad that I will never wear it again.
If I have a daughter one day, she is going to wear that dress on her wedding day...I don't care if she hates it!

I washed the dress and its in a vacuum storage bag right now. I plan on doing a day after shoot so after we do that I will wash it again and save it to make something for our kids.

I wore it to my day after shoot. Then I wore it a million times to film our TWOTY entry video Now it is preserved and in my mom's house. Boo!!!!

My is still dirty at my mom's house in the garment bag. Either that or my mom brought it to be cleaned/preserved & it is not back yet. Lol. Not sure?

hanging on my closet door at my parents house still dirty it needs to be cleaned. i get upset when i see it not sure what i will do with it. i may preserve it.

My sister had a baby girl about 10 months ago and when she was looking for christening dresses she found out that a lot of women use their wedding gowns to create the dress. I think it adds a nice sentimental value to the christening gown.

i plan on preserving it but at the moment its still in my closet at my parents house! ill get to it one of these days!

thanks for the suggestions! i never even thought about using it for a christening outfit. definitely something to consider after dec 3.... that is, if i ever find a dress... im getting closer to picking one!)

its been in a bag since i took it off! I moved it from my house to my friends bc I was suppose to get it preserved...just never happened
