My Mom loves ornaments. I went to Lord & Taylor and bought her an ornament. I also got her a Sears gift card and Tresor perfume!!

I bought my mom 5 shirts from Macy's. I am so excited because I got her a Tommy Hilfiger shirt. I never bought her a Tommy shirt before because she is plus sized. I think she is going to love it.

I got my mom a robe, she admired at Target. I got her a new pump & filter for her fish pond, new drinking glasses, wine glasses and some odds and ends.

a gift certificate to get her hair cut at my salon (she is always complaining that it is out of her price range but would love one of his cuts b/c he is so good)...

ETA: they also have nate berkus robes @ linens n things (REALLY NICE) on sale marked down from 89.99 to 49.99 and then with an additional 20% off (coupon) it comes to about 35 dollars!! It's a great deal b/c the robe is Heaven!!

My Mom keeps saying she doesn't need anything....but I got her some stuff anyway

Some of the makeup she wears (MAC)
a GAP long sleeved shirt
and a restaurant GC so her and my Dad can have a date night!

That is ALWAYS a good gift-- it's always hard to find time, at their age, to go out and have a nice dinner... I get that a lot for my parents too. Like, I'll get that and then a small individual gift for each of them... A sure thing!!

I got my mom tickets to see The Color Purple on Broadway. She's been dying to see it and had to work when I went to see it.

At least you found her something. If I were to buy my mom knives she would say 'I dont want knives..that just means I have to cook more'

To be honest....My parents oil burner died, and My wonderful FH who knows everything, put a new one in... It costs 3k. So basically it is their gift, it is not what I would have liked to get, but hey...They need heat and hot water

I got her some ornaments too, and a CD, and a pretty pie dish from pottery barn.

I bought her the gloves and lotions from Bath and Body works because he hands get so dry in the winter and then Fh and I and my brother and his Gf chipped in and bought her a diamond pendant. My mom deserves it!!!

Every year I get my mom something to use for the house and she never ends up using it so this year I decided to get her something to wear. I couldn't go all out this Christmas (wedding expenses are taking a toll on our pockets ) , so I got her two INC shirts (one of her favorite brands) from Macy's.
