When you booked your HM did you go through a travel agent or do it on your own like, Expedia?

Sorta did both...if that makes sense. LOL> We went through a travel agent that's in Ireland... LOL. I came across them online and we had several phone calls and emails deciding on the perfect Ireland HM for us. So we didn't actually go there so to speak, but they put the whole package together for us... HA.

We used Liberty Travel in Oceanside...Michelle is the woman we used.

We booked on our own...actually through costco!

But we got the best deal. I spoke with travel tom, he was great, but he couldn't get us the same price that costco did! And they had great trip insurance.

Normally I would book trips on my own (either through a travel site or through the resorts and airlines websites, etc.) but for the HM we used a TA because we figured they could get us better deals or have some extras thrown in (like a HM welcome gift or something). I'm not sure I couldn't have done better myself but I guess I'm happy we used the TA.

You must be the 8th or 9th bride that has booked her HM through Costco.. Geesh I wish I had known!! My friends got GREAT deals.. Good call on your part!!

We used Five Star Alliance .com book the hotel, and Travelocity for the flight

for the cruise, i used an online TA who is just sooo wonderful! and for aruba, its my parents TS so no agent involved

One of the things FH and I are most looking forward to is opening a Costco membership together. I know I had no idea you can book HMs through them...hmm...

went to a travel agent. i'm a TAD paranoid about things and i don't want to miss something. so i let someone else do it.

travel agent.. since we are going to hawaii a travel agent usuallyl finds much better deals then if you try to book it on your own
