seal your invitation envelopes?

I told FH to pick up envelope sealer but he insisted to do it with a sponge. I didnt like the idea at all but I gave him the benifit of the doubt. Well......he did one envelope last night and it F'ed up the envelope!!!! never sealed and now is all wrinkly I got furious!

do glue stix work?

double sided tape from Staples. BEST DECISION we made, no mess, no water, and no buckling / wrinkles.

I used envelope moistener, it comes in a tube. I was not licking them. All I could think of was the Seinfeld episode when Susan died from licking their wedding invitation envelopes. LOL

I just dipped a t q-tip into some warm water and painted the water on...easy

I used elmers invisible glue stick.

the purple dissappearing glue stick....and i asked some co workers if the glue got on the inner envelopes (cause i was afraid that might happen), and they said nope.....everything came out perfect!

We used a sponge. DH insisted. As long as you don't wet it too much it was ok... he only ruined a few...

(it was one of my few Bridezilla FREAKOUTS! )

I have to seal envelopes at work all the time and I found this stuff which I plan on using for my invitations when the time comes!

i just used a slightly damp paper towel! It was so quick and worked perfectly, no wrinkles

we just licked but we also had a mickey gold seal with our names to hold it down
