What did you wear...

when you went to try on dresses? I have my first appointment tomorrow and was wondering if I should wear strapeless or do they have things for you...

My first time I wore a thong & the salesgirl came int he room & I was embarrassed. After that I wore boy shorts and also brought a strapless.

I also brought my own set of heels because the ones they have there skivvied me out.

I brought a strapless bra and spanx, but I didn;t really use the spanx at all. I also brought my own shoes because I knew what heel height I wanted to wear with the dress, so I wanted to get the full effect once I was in the proper size heel. try to wear flesh colored items so nothing shows thru the dress!

They always had a strapless bra thing for me, but it was padded and drove me nuts since I'm a D cup and padding makes me look even more ridiculous in a strapless dress!

If you are doing fitting only wear actually bra you will wear on wedding day.

I'm also a bit bashful so I wore opaque black tights which s u c k e d me in enough and smoothed things out.

I'm a big girl so I brought my 'suck you all in' strapless sausage casing (full body girdle).
The second time I went I just wore a regular bra and pulled the straps down - I picked my dress that day.

When we went back to pick out BM dresses I wore my girdle thing again to try on the dress for the BMs and it made such a huge difference!

Until I found my dress, I used what they had at the salon. I tried a strapless the first place we went, but it didn't work with any of the dresses, so from there on out, I used the long line bras they had in the salons until I bought one.

BR gave me a corset-strapless to try it on with. I had brought my strapless too, but they had something for me to try it on with.

I think I wore a strapless...but they gave me one that I used and then I ordered that style. I also wore boy shorts. Thinking about this makes me want to wear my dress right now...
