What did you wear...

for your engagement pics? What did FH wear? We're doing them outside in 2 weeks (either the beach or a park) and I was wondering what to wear. Post pics if you can!

What did you wear...

I have my pics in my album, but I had on a black/white/grey dress and FH wore a plaid shirt and jeans. I really wish I had worn jeans for mine honestly. For me personally, I would have been more comfortable. So that would be my suggestion - wear what you are comfortable in!

What did you wear...

I wore a dress and changed into a shirt and jeans.
FH wore jeans, a button down and changed into a polo.

We did a change in the car, so don't worry about changing.

I'm on the hunt for something to wear too. Mine are in a month (outdoor also). I am hoping to find two outfits - a casual dress and then a change into a pretty top with skinny jeans. I REALLY hope it will be warm enough for sandals bc I don't know what other shoes I would wear. My problem is - I always wear black or gray, so I'm trying to find something with some color to make the pictures more interesting.

Since we're getting married around the same tiem, you prob also sent out your STD's already. What are you planning on using your engagement photos for? A lot of people keep telling me why bother at this point, but since its included, I think we should still take them. I want to use it to get comfortable taking pictures with the photographer, but I don't really know what we'd use the actual pictures for.

pics in album but I first wore a dress and fh wore dark jeans and a button down then I changed towards the end to a black sweater with jeans and fh just changed his shirt to a tshirt.

You can use them as table numbers, a card box, or make an album on shutterfly that is also a guestbook.

My first set that my friend took at a farm, I wore jeans & a cute shirt and we were sitting in dirt, etc.... so I was glad I had on jeans!

My second set that my photographer took at Jones Beach, I wore a flow-y white dress, which looked awesome. The dress didn't bother me... I'm not one to worry about jumping around in a dress, so the modesty stuff wasn't an issue for me haha

I was glad to have a mix of the two though-picture wise. So if you can, bring 2 different outfits and definitely something you are comfortable in!

We actually didn't do STD's. They're included so I feel like I should have them done. We're going to make them into a photo book on shutterfly or snapfish to use as a guest book!

Thanks for the suggestions ladies! Keep them coming. I definitely want to do 2 outfits, one dress and one jeans. And of course I need to dress FH because well...otherwise he won't match! I love him but his clothes matching skills are not the greatest!!

What did you wear...

I wore white skinny jean capris and a loose bright purple tank top - we were on the beach. He wore a polo and khaki shorts.

What did you wear...

We took our 1st set (with a friend of FH) back in Oct at the Bronx Botanical Gardens and I wore jeans, a white top and a flowy open sweater with flat knee high boots, FH wore jeans and a sweater. Pix in albums.

We have a 2nd eshoot planned (this time with our actual wedding photographer) on the 20th of this month in dkwntown Brooklyn. Since we had a park/garden for the 1 st shoot we wanted to change it up and have more of a city vibe. We plan to dress, I guess u can call it 'urban casual' lol Ill be in jeans, a white tee with a red jacket and a pair of jordan sneakers to match and FH will be in jeans and an ecko (his fav brand) graphic tee and jacket with sneakers and fitted hat.

My advice is to dress comfortable. You dont want to feel self conscious or pulling at your outfit because it will come across in your photos. Also, dress for your enviornment. You dont want to be in a fancy dress and heels and your location is a park.

Same here! I wore a knit dress and boots and I really wish I would have worn jeans!!!

What did you wear...

We wanted to be comfortable and look natural, so FH wore jeans, a striped button-down and shoes (he's normally a sneaker guy, but he jazzed it up for the pics). I wore a sweater, jeans and knee-high boots. I'm happy with the way they turned out because since I looked natural, I felt more natural doing the pics.

What did you wear...

I found the idea for my outfit on Pinterest!I wore tan pants with black shirt and black boots with a Burberry scarf. My fiance wore button down shirt with jeans and casual dress shoes. We had already made our STD from pictures we took the day we got engaged. We're using these pictures for a guestbook at the wedding and for pictures around our house.

My photographer said to wear something casual, i would have worn a gown if i could have LOL but my fiance went with a button down shirt and jeans.

We are panning to do our pics in 2 weeks at OWG so we are going to get dressed up. Im planning to wear a dress and FH will wear a suit. After that our photographer is taking us somewhere else so we are going to change into jeans and nice shirts. Im hoping the weather warms up or else Im going to be freezing lol
