More on flowers..and done more research also
less on nothing....we had great prices
I wish I would have looked around more for the dress and waited because even though my dress was beautiful it wasn't the right dress forthe wedding we ended up having and I should have had the dress I REALLY wanted made like I wanted to do. I also would have been more specific about my hair and I would have gone to The Grand Hotel to do my hair and flowers. The wedding its self and the reception were PERFECT!

I have list of things I wish I spend more money on..

1) reception hall- (i felt it was too small)
2) photo/video- (I wasn't happy with my pictures and video...)
3) centerpieces- (I wish I did them myself...because for what I paid..they didn't look nice..at all...they did a horrible job of setting them up..)

My advice..try not to skimp on the photos and video..because it counts..

We were happy with all of our vendors. The only thing we would have done differently is hire a videographer.

I was happy with everyone so I wouldn't change a thing.

I spent a lot on the photographer & videographer and the hall. I think spending a lot on the hall was worth it...I loved the location. We'll see about the photographer/videographer. So far, we're happy.

I'm proud that I really saved on:
1. Shoes: DSW for $20-$30. They're shoes...just shoes.
2. Invites. People loved them. People (at least my fam & friends) thought they were beautiful & pricey.
3. Save the dates: I did them myself. People loved them. They were very personal.

I spent average on clothes, flowers, DJ, Limo, ect.
Clothes: My wedding dress was stunning, overpriced as they all are, but stunning. NOT a multi-thousand dollar gown. I tried them on, they just didn't do it for me. My veil was on the exensive side, but I loved it & wore it all night. This will be the thing handed down (if I have girls)...it was finely made.
Flowers: Were really beautiful, and I got high centerpieces. I went with Pedestals and was very happy.
DJ: She was wonderful. I did my research here to find someone I liked the 'theme' of. She did a great job and was very nice and professional.
Limo: Not cheap, not overpriced: No complaints (but not a bargain either.

Oh...and I hear...If you spend money on one thing, spend it on a hall that you like the 'bones' of. This way, you won't change too much.

If I got rid of one cost, it would be the church flowers. I don't even remember them.

We would have used a *different* Tuxedo Vendor .... not based on price, but based on situations they created .... and it *probably* would have cost us less if we had used someone else ... but that wouldn't have been the main reason for the hind-sight change. I just think the place we went to was overpriced and over-hyped and not worth the aggravation they caused.

We would have added a 2nd photographer. We were happy with our pics, I just wish there were *more* of them.

I would not change a thing about the hall, the flowers, the dresses, the music, or anything else I can think of at the moment.

I wish I spent more money on flowers and spent more time researching...it was on the last things I did and frankly...I couldn't have cared less at that point. (not that I hated my flowers though)

The least---hmmmmm I spent way to much money on my necklace and I'll never wear it again! I really did love it though!!!!

Good Question!!!

I wish I had spent less on our Limo, but not b/c it wasnt worth it but b/c I contracted fro their top of the line Escalade and got a shiity older beat up escalade the day of

Otherwise, we really did stick to a budget and I was 100% happy with the way everything went

I don't think I'd change a thing. I was happy w/ how it all turned out so no regrets on what I spent

I'm not there yet. But as far as church flowers, we are getting married in the same place as RH so the florist said that they would just move the flowers into the next room.

well, for what I wished I spent the most on, I would say my hall......not that I wasn't happy w/ my hall (I loved DM!!), but it would have been nice in the initial planning phase if we weren't as limited w/ our budget for the hall.

As for what I wish I spent less on- DJ!!! We got a very high priced package, while they were pretty good overall, I guess in hindsight we didn't have to spend as much as we did.

I wished I had spent more on my photography and less on stupid side DIY things that almost no one noticed. I like my photography but honestly...it was nothing special...

of course our RH was the most expensive vendor, other than that was our photographer/videographer - we were happy that we spent the etxra $$ on all.

wish i had spent less on limos - we had thought we were gonna take pics in between but didnt - our limo ride was literally no more than 5 minutes and we had a stretch hummer and vintage caddy - total waste in my eyes
