what did/is your father wearing (black bow tie, tie/vest, etc)?

my father originally said he wanted to wear a traditional tuxe, w/ a black bow tie. now my mother has him wearing a tie and vest to match her dress.

i don't know if that will lok right....

help!

my father is wearing a black tux, but i'm not sure about the tie/vest or bow tie

Both my dad and FFIL are wearing black tuxes with a shade of gray tie/vest combo.

We had our GM in black bow ties and our dads in silver/gray. My mon wore navy blue and his mom wore a sea-blue kinda color.

My FIL wore silver to match MIL's dress.

My Dad wore a black tie to the reception, no vest (he wanted a cummerbund and bowtie but Men's Wearhouse screwed up ) and then for the reception he changed into a Hawaiian print bowtie and cummerbund (my Dad is known for wearing Hawaiian shirts)--that's what I get for telling him I didn't care what he wore!
