Ok, so I am pretty sure my shower is this weekend and now I am getting a little nervous. What do I do there? I mean I've been to a bunch of showers before but I never really paid attention to everything the bride was doing. Obviously when I first walk in I will say my round of hellos. (should I do this before or after I change clothes?). Then what? Do I just start opening gifts? I hate when all eyes are on me. lol. I know this must sound ridiculous and these are some of most of my closest people but I am feeling kind of shy. I might have to start the day with a quick shot. lol. Anyone else feel nervous about it?

don't be nervous!!
when i got there i just said hello to everyone and mingled for a little. then we sat to eat. After that my bridal party kind of directed what was going on...whether it was games, opening gifts, etc. And when I had down time I would just mingle.

I was SO nervous walking in! I knew when mine was so just knowing that I had to walk in gave me anxiety ..
but i promise as soon as you see everyone it gets better! And they will guide you along as the day goes on .. I gave my hellos, had a few drinks, they played some games .. then they set me up in a chair and handed me gifts .. It was great!

No need to be nervous. You will be with your family & friends, celebrating you getting married!!!
I said all my hellos, prior to changing my outfit. Then after I changed the photographer my mom hired took a whole bunch of pictures of DH & I & my dad & I. My sister (MOH) ran everything. She really took charge. I ate my food quickly & would walk around talking to everyone.

I feel the same way, even though it is close friends and family I hate opening gifts in front of people especially when all eyes are on you. Have a glass of wine and I am sure your nerves will calm down. Good Luck
