I'm going next week to pick out my menu at Jericho Terrace. Can anyone let me know what to expect. Also after reading some reviews I've seen that there is one Matre'd I don't want to have at the wedding. Can I ask that he not be my matre'd? TIA!!!!

check reviews on the bride's review board for jericho terrace - that may give you the info about the maitre'd that you need. as for the tasting, not sure what to expect -you can try to FM espo22, i know she is getting married there.

I have a different RH but when I went to set the menu the planning lady walked through the whole menu and asked what we wanted (we had circled our choices eons ago but did make some changes.)
She told us where/what to do for the cake and then proceeded to give us a billllion work sheets to fill out and return the week of... Seems pretty typical that you drop off all your stuff (cake toppers place cards etc) and choose linens etc the week of.

they should have mailed you a list of their menu and you pick accordingly from the menu. then when you sit down at your appt. you go over everything that you picked just to be sure that Anna (the menu lady) has it right. And that's when you pick out your cake. And yes you should make sure you have the Matre 'D that you want. I had Linda and she was AMAZING! from begining to end.
oh, and this when they tell you how much you should tip the Matre 'D.. make sure you're sitting down.. you might pass out!

You should have rec'd some paperwork with your menu choices in the mail or when you first booked. That's really all you need.
There's someone at Jericho who handles all of the menu selections. You'll meet with them and select everything including your cake. Your maitre d has nothing to do with the menu selection. You'll meet with them about 10 days prior to your wedding.
If you can, see if you can request Jose. He was our maitre d and he was AMAZING!

I had it written into my notes what Maitre D' I wanted when I went for my menu. All I brought was their menu, given to me when we booked. We had circled some stuff but made a few changes.

Thanks so much girls! I got the paperwork yesterday but had already made my appt. They actually had the day wrong on the paperwork I got yesterday so I started getting nervous then I looked on the brides review board and read about a certain maitre'd that I know I don't want! I don't want to freak out too much about this I'm stressed about so many other things I don't need this. Thanks again!!!!!
