What do they mean when they

What do they mean when they

say: 'The inside heel height of this shoe is 2', and the outer heel height is 2 5/8'? I've seen this with several on-line shoes.

probably means the sole of the shoe inside is padded not sure...

If you take off a pair of heels and look at them you will notice that the heel has been cut on an angle. The higher the shoe, the sharper the angle. The inside an outside are the different points of the angle.

Oh, I understand! So, I might as well just figure that the shoe is the higher height given then. Thanks!
