It's a nice dress, but as far as working on most body types--it's impossible to tell. If the bodice part is proportionately larger on the larger sizes, it will fit and look good. If not, then, it may be too small and unflattering. I'm busty and I've had this problem a lot with empire dresses and things like that where the bust part is very defined. A lot of the time, there just isn't enough of it, if you see what I mean. But there's no way to tell what it's going to look like unless you have a bigger size to try on. And any girls who are thick through the middle won't like the shirred part. Also, I'm not sure it would look all that great on short brides--the way it's divided into three very separate parts. I'm very tall, so that's only a guess on my part. But you asked!
