what do u guys think of...

so on vday ..fh turns to me and says that he would love to have a dance to 'lady in red'...he loves that song ...so i turn to him and said that we can have 2 songs for our wedding and hes like no lets dance to it at our e-party....do u think thats weird???? i personally wanna do it but dont want it to be too much like a wedding ( i mean it already is...we r having it at a rh and its a wedding minus the vienese hr)....what do u guys think?? is it too much???

not sure yet..i ordered a dress from Nordrams and its brown,pink,white... i dont think there is ne red in it though...fh just really loves the song.....thats awesome maureen...we will both be dancing to it ....its a great song

FH and I are dancing at my eparty so I think it'sa good idea. I figure, it's my party I'll do what I want

I think it's a good idea. You're e-party is too celebrate a special moment leading up to the wedding and it's like that dance will be a preview of your wedding dance.

I don't think that is a bad idea at all!!

On a side note my sister loved one song and my brother in law loved another so they danced to her song first and then halfway through the reception they announced that her husband had a song to dedicate to her and they danced alone to I believe a Luther Vandross song... 'love you i do'

I dont see anything wrong with it at alll. i think its totally fine. i have been to epartys where they have a dance many times.

Definitely go for it! There's no rules to any of this. Plus, like someone else mentioned, I think people would expect to see you guys dance to something.

I danced with my FH at our engagement party and I also requested a special song with my dad!

no, i think its nice to dance to a different song at your eparty...im trying to think of a different one then our song, so nobody hears it before our first married dance...are you wearing red to the eparty?
