What do u say if u got the same present at your shower??

How do u not insult people if u got the same present twice?

With all the gifts you will be opening/getting, I think it would sort of easy to play it off.. Do as you would with all your gifts you receive... thank them.

It depends on what it is. Something are ok if you have more than one and you can say that. But for all other times I personally would just minimize the fact that there were duplicates. Just open the present - say thank you - and move on. Then you can return one and get something else. Chances are the two people will approach you about the duplicate and suggest that you return it. I would just shrug it off and leave it at that. If they ask you later on if you returned their gift you can just say that you did return one and got another item but you didn't pay attention to which person's gift you returned. KWIM?
