sanmik- thanks my other glasses were beautiful but too modern had black in the stem if I had gotten a different dining room set it would have gone w/ black lacquor but orefors discontinued them and only makes BLue now? who knows, just as well b/c they were 49.50 a glass! hence, why I had none

Tammy they are beautiful you have excellent taste - The only thing I would give second thought to is the platinum ring. I have the vera wang grosgrain so I was first looking at the stemware with the rings - but one reason I didn't go with them was that some people told me they had problems with the rings coming off - and other problems that they suggested I not get them. You might want to do some research on it before you make a final decision. They had gold rims though so that might be the difference
They are beautiful though and I think they would go well with your place settings

Tammy - you can always get black-stemware that costs less if you're in the mood for a change, but honestly the above will go with anything and everything 20/30/40 years from now.

Re: what do u think of this stemware/pic working now
I have this stemware without the platinum edge - it was purchased at Fortunoff - it is called 'Debut' rather than 'Debut Platinum'. They also have 'Debut Gold'. Either way, it really is gorgeous

Re: what do u think of this stemware/pic working now
I have lenox glasses with the platinum ring and I don't want them anymore. I want the ones without the ring but Fortunoff said its too late to change them. I have not even taken them out or anything, they are still brand new. Don't know what to do?
