I keep hearing about ushers. what do the ushers do and do i have to have ushers? im not getting married in a church. we are getting married at the RH if that matters.

ushers & groomsmen seat the guests...
ETA: I dont know if it matters if your getting married are RH or not

Hand out programs, seat people, direct guests to take whatever 'send off' items you have.
ETA: It's kind of a BS job in my opinion but for someone like my cousin who I grew up with but not close enough to be a groomsman (especially since Fh has 457534735 already) it's good enough! He wants on that partybus, I'm gonna make him work for it!
