I've been so caught up with the wedding planning for the last year that I am a little bit scared about what I will do with myself after it is all over. We don't plan on having children for years yet, so I guess I will focus on buying a house or condo. I'm afraid that my life will be boring What are your plans for after the wedding?

Life is not boring after wedding planning.....it is just normal. DH & I find plenty of ways to fill up our time to the point where I dont have a free weekend until Spet.

I don't think it will be boring for us we plan to do more traveling as well as look into purchasing a house in a year or two... It's what you make of it that determines if it's boring or not

Its really not boring at all! Ive only been married 17 days so far, and havent been bored yet. We just moved into our house so I am preoccupied with opening boxes and decorating still.
Its nice to come home at night and eat dinner with my DH and then sit on the couch together and just relax and talk to each other at night.

i will miss planning the wedding - so far, at least, it's been really fun for me! however, isn't the challenge of marriage trying to keep life interesting on a daily basis with your spouse? trying to spice things up despite the daily grind?
i personally am not worried about being bored... i'll be in grad school. so i'm sure i'll have more than enough on my plate! as for FH... i just have to remember to keep enough of my time free for him, so i don't get too caught up with my schoolwork. i think that can be the greatest challenge for me sometimes - finding a school/work/life balance.

After the wedding I am going to focus on finishing my PhD. I doubt I will have too much time to miss wedding planning.

House hunting is the major thing we're going to be doing in earnest.
Also, I NEED to get back to playing with a community orchestra--my violin chops are not what they were at this point two years ago.
I think next week, I'm going to start my winter concert music planning (if I have to order a piece for the kiddies, I have to do it now) AND I have to start thinking about designing the Powerpoint for the elementary orchestra teacher workshop I'm giving in Nassau Co. in late October. . .never a dull moment!!!

I'm looking forward to getting my life back! Planning the wedding has taken up so much of my free time. Every weekend is running here or there. I live 1 block from the beach and have only been there once.
Plus, I get back from my honeymoon about a week before Thanksgiving and then Christmas will be right around the corner. So we will still have something to look forward to after the wedding.
