That's a cute idea!

I'm guessing you already have an idea of where you're getting them from, but if not I would suggest 'Cupcake Gourmet' in Huntington. They are EXCELLENT.

i looked into this but ran into some issues w/ regards to my family ... the sugar chic makes nice ones for a decent price, but my FH fell in love with the ones from crumbs bakery (we went to the one in woodbury) since they are HUGE and yummy

I've actually been toying with this idea myself. I think edible favors are wonderful, because they're something that won't go to waste. But then on the other hand, some people actually LIKE the keepsake favors.

i agree that some people DO like keepsake favors but i know i never use mine and usually throw them out. so i if i have to spend another $500++ i would prefer a majority of it go to use which is why im thinking edible or drinkable favors lol

I am all over edible. I always eat it in the car. My FH though says no way. He is a firm believer in 'practical' favors people will use. I say I will use that cupcake to stop my hunger!

I personally LOVE edible favors. I did mini cheesecakes from a famous cheese cake place in my neighborhood. I feel like it's yummy and fun...and people aren't taking home clutter Food, drink, donations are all great favors imo
