Having the gm wear really nice blck suits rather than getting a tux. Maybe the groom should be in a tux, but let the gm get a suit. Do you think it would look weird having the groom in a tux and he rest in suits, could the groom wear a nice black suit too? I know this is all over the place, I am just trying to get my thoughts out about this lol! Any opinions would be great appreciated thanks ladies!

Im thinking of doing suits too...the tux look is def not FH. I think all suits will be fine

i think it would be really nice! and the wedding is supposed to be about you and FH and reflect your personality/style so if a TUX is not FH then theres no rule that says it has to be that way
its all about you guys so do what IS YOU!!

my FH is wearing a really nice 3 piece Hugo Boss suit for the wedding.....his groomsmen are wearing regular tuxedos - personally, i dont like tuxedos and neither does my FH so that is why he is wearing a suit - the suit he bought is gorgeous - the reason the groomsmen aren't wearing suits is because we wanted them to match and nice suits can be pretty expensive.....but i think a nice 3 piece suit looks just as good if not better than a tuxedo...if you want something a little more casual regular suits are fine too - its really up to you guys - ive seen lots of things - i even love khaki suits for beach weddings

both fh and bm (we have no gm's) are wearing a nice suit, no tuxes. fh doesn't want to rent a tux and there's no point in him buying one. plus he really wants a really nice suit to wear so we figured he might as well get one he can wear for the wedding and thereafter. our bm already has a nice suit from his wedding so we're going to try to match fh's suit to his although it might be hard cause the brands are going to be different. so i think it's perfectly fine if they both wear a suit.

hmm .. my FH wear suits everyday to work, so he def wants a tux to stand out, and the gms never wear suits or a tux, so it might be a nice change for them too

I think suits would look really nice!!! I was thinking about doign that too but now I decided I am going with the tux only because its probably the only time i will ever get to see FH in one.. unless he is in weddings in the future.
