Re: What do you all think of this exact look?
Pretty....but I would wrap the stems with a sheer material maybe with buttons down the front. It will make them easier to hold also.White callalillies are classic - very elegant!

Re: What do you all think of this exact look?
I LOVE Callalillies!! I wanted to do something similar but a bit smaller but my florest suggested that I have the stems wrapped so that they don't stain my dress.I think the look is very eligant but I am going to go with his suggestion and have the stems wrapped.

Re: What do you all think of this exact look?
If you wanted to stick with callalillies there are a bunch of varieties and colors. They have pink ones, purple ones, light yellow, mango, orange...I'm sure there is more. For you I would stick with the white and depending on the color of your BM dresses you could give them a bouquet of callas and some other flowers.
Show your dress and your BM dresses to your florist. It helps them decide on what style looks best.

Honestly I am not a fan of this style although I know many, many girls are. I do not like callas really- which puts me in the minority. Most girls love a full bouquet of callas.

Re: What do you all think of this exact look?
I showed my florist my BM dresses (which are victorian lilac) and we decied to go with ivory callalillies, purple freesha, and some stephonotis (sp?). I never would have thought to put the three flowers together. Show your dress and your BM dress to your florest and I think they will be able to help you.And I'll try to post pics of my arrangement after my wedding....only 15 days away!!!

I don't like them that much, it appears wilted looking to me and heavy for your girls, Also, just because I myself have bad allergies keep in mind that if any of your girls do that you watch how fraquent (sp) your flowers are.

I had callas in my bouquet too, and they were so pretty. I do recommend having them wrapped in ribbon. Each stem was wrapped. It looked GORGEOUS!!!!I love the arm bouquet...it is very different.Im not into the traditional round bouquet of roses.

Re: What do you all think of this exact look?
Like Michele - this isn't my favorite look. I do really like calla lillies but I prefer it when the stems are wrapped like a french clutch bouquet. This style seems very casual to me. But that is just my opinion.PS: Warning - Callas are very expensive! Most florists will charge a lot for this look even though it requires barely no effect on their part.
PSS: There are also 'mini' callas that can be incorporated into other flowers nicely.

Re: What do you all think of this exact look?
Be careful with callalillies. They are very expensive and depending on the season, the florist cannot guarantee that they will be perfect.I'm getting married in Oct. and wanted them but they would have to be shipped from California and they couldn't guarantee that they would be perfect.
They are gorgeous and I wanted them too...but just double-check with your florist!

Re: What do you all think of this exact look?
I had them, but in August they were in season. If you like the style of the arm bouquet, Im biased here, I LOVE it, because I had that style, then you can use different flowers that will drape over your arm. If you like the look of it, then use it, dont go by other opinions. Talk to your florist and see what flowers are in season. Or if you are unsure, have the florist show you a sample of an arm bouquet, and hold it. That is what my florist did. He gave me different styles and had me walk up and down the hall. That is how I knew I didnt like the standard round bouquets.Welcome New Vendors
