I think it is totally fine!!! We are all trying to cut costs anywhere we can. I am sure she was feeling the same way when planning her upcoming wedding. The fun is being together not having to get your hair done with them staring at you. Maybe get yours done extra early that day so you can be there while everyone else is still in the getting ready phase, and still all be together

I think you should go to the place you normally do esp since it will be cheaper. I'm sure the bride won't mind and is just asking so she has a number to give to hair/makeup people. As long as you're not late getting back then I'd say just go to who you like and save yourself the money!!!

I told my BP to do it at their own place. I wanted to spend time and the getting ready with my mom and sister only. I am sure she will understand. Go to your place and save $.

If I were you I'd do it at my own place, early, if possible. Then you can be there to take pics and assist while they're getting their hair/makeup done. You'll get to save $$ and spend the time together.
ITA!! it should be a problem at all. i told my BMs the same thing. because especially with how horrible the economy is for everyone, every penny counts and that way you all can enjoy your time together without feeling the pinch of the money
