What do you chose first, hair or headpiece/veil?

I plan to wear my hair half up and half down, and would like a thin veil, but not sure about headpeice.
Should I do hair trial first or should I search for headpiece first?

I didn't do it this way but it ended up costing me. I would suggest you

a) decide on hair style, do a trial and be 100% sure that is the style for you.

b) decide if you want to keep your veil on during the reception or not and if you want a blusher.

c) decide on a headpiece/comb/pins or whatever.

d)find a veil.

Im using LI people but there are quite a few great salons in our neighborhood.

Have you tried the Il Kameleon salon (7th Avenue near 9th Street)? Creative hair has bridal packages (9th street near 5th Avenue).
