that sounds about right, although i hear of ppl having weddings for under $10k...amazing!
I don't know how they did it. We were trying for $15K then we realized the RH alone will cost that much. Then I thought $25K. Now I am hoping $30K top for everything... including honeymoon, rings and the whole shibang!!! I pray b/c FH and I are paying for EVERYTHING and we have 1 year left to save... save...save!!!!

same here, was really thinking I could do everything cheaper than an RH .... kind went overboard a bit

I found out that Colorado weddings and California weddings were the most expensive in the country. New Yorkers spend alot, but get more for the money, on average . . . . like a martini bar might be included at a NY wedding and cost thousands here in DC (which it does). Here's a site where you can put in zip codes and find out average wedding cost . . .

The Knot survey found out that the average is about $27-28K countrywide.
