I'm in Grad school going for my JD. Suppose to graduate this year with the worst market for law grads ever!! Great timing, isn't it?!
It is pretty bad out there but try to stay positive and NETWORK NETWORK NETWORK. Also I know it ***** but it helps be open to markets outside of ny-ie nj, or ct. I graduated in may 2007 and obviously the economy was better then but both fh and I found that there were much better opportunities in nj both in terms of the type of work you will be doing and the number of positions. It is way less elite than the ny market so grades and school are usually not deal breakers. Let me know if you need any advice.
